Eric and his team smash the ' Ford RideLondon' in aid of two charities

Eric Stapleton completed his second fundraising event for MISSEDABEAT. Eric completed the London Marathon on the 21st April 2024, raising a staggering £724 and immediately began his training for the Ford RideLondon event.

The Ford RideLondon-Essex challenge, is the UK’s largest closed-road mass participation cycling event. The popular route has largely been the same for the past two editions, combining the unique thrill of cycling on traffic-free roads in the centre of London, with heading out into Essex’s picturesque countryside.

Michael Fitzgerald, Eric Stapleton and Michael Brown completed the Ford RideLondon on Sunday 26 May 2024, which many believe is the world’s greatest festival of cycling.

Around 25,000 riders took part in three mass participation events

of varying distances on the same route. They set off from Victoria

Embankment traveling through central London into east London and Essex before returning to the capital for a spectacular finish at Tower Bridge.

This raised vital funds for two great charities;. The North East charity MISSEDABEAT and the British Heart Foundation.

Eric an his team would like to thank everyone for all their support.👌

Mark Preston from MISSEDABEAT would like to Thank Eric for all of his continued support, without the support from super fundraisers like Eric, the charity would struggle to achieve it aims to improve the access to the local community and wider areas to more readily available defibrillators.
